To finish this miniserie and independently of the previously stated, if you really want to protect your privacy you only need one thing: a critical mind. This isn't new at all, there has always been brave people ready to defend their rights, but this is about new medias that because either ignorance or bad faith are constantly being attack with the only purpose of serving the interest of a minority, of creating an oligarchy out of this free place.

You may use windows or mac, if that's the case you should understand that the more users a software or system has, the more tempting it is to write viruses or spyware, furthermore when it's utterly insecure like windows. That is the reason why first of all you have to change, indeed I still remember one of those days from the last decade, at that time the irc (a chat network) was a mean of communication quite popular but then a bug (error) affecting several windows versions that froze the computer if some special paths were accessed was discovered, as a matter of fact almost everybody had irc clients that allowed sending and receiving files by default, so someone wrote a script to force the victim access one of those directories and every windows 95 and 98 user wasn't able to connect for several days because if they did their computer would be frozen, something similar happened during one of the previous campus party where you could see entire rows made of computers with windows restarting again and again because of a worm (I guess it was the Sasser or some variant). I still remember a scene that I saw during my last visit to the Imperial War Museum, it was a representation of the occupied germany where two guards were looking at a screen. Something similar takes place every single day on our roads, streets or even high schools and the spanish government is determined to impose it to every Internet user.

DRM
DRM means digital rights management, that is, people from their director's office deciding what you can or can't do with something you own and that you've already paid for, and it takes place on your ipod or windows, on your iphone or office, on iTunes, CDs and DVDs. DRM is giving a good handshake to a manufacturer and having your hands handcuffed in exchange. This is only my graphic expression about it although I'm sure that the campaign just set off by Defective by Design called 35 Days Against DRM happens to be much more interesting, beginning with apple's laptops. faltantornillos.net

(Español) zapatero gana 7.442 euros al mes, rajoy solo por ser diputado percibe 4.600 euros al mes, los vicepresidentes 6.995 euros al mes y los ministros 6.565 euros brutos al mes, todo esto sin contar los complementos y otras prestaciones, ah, estos son los supuestos representantes del pueblo cuyo salario mínimo es de 600 euros al mes (en francia es de 1.308 euros brutos por mes) y cuyo sueldo medio es un 34% inferior al de la media de la ue. Claro, lo que los políticos ganan no sería algo alarmante si ese dinero hubiera sido asignado por un tercero pero ellos hacen las leyes, ellos deciden cuánto quieren ganar y se han puesto de acuerdo para ganar siete veces más que el trabajador que menos ingresa.
